Harold Wolf (USA)

Harold F. (Hal) Wolf III has been President and CEO of HIMSS since 2017, a global advisor and thought leader supporting the transformation of the health ecosystem through information and technology. He served HIMSS for four years before that, as an advisor to the board and as a board member, most recently as vice chair.
He was previously director and practice leader of information and digital health strategy at The Chartis Group and senior vice president and COO of the Permanente Federation of Kaiser Permanente, which represents more than 16,000 physicians. Earlier he held executive positions at MTV Networks and Time Warner and served as a senior adviser to McKinsey & Company. He holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Business from Wake Forest University and in Textile Management from North Carolina State University.
