Dr. Jürgen Terhaag has been Chief Physician of the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics with its certified Breast Unit in Eggenfelden since 2006. In 2016 he opened the MVZ Eggenfelden as part owner and medical director, and in 2020 the Studienzentrale für das MVZ Eggenfelden, which took over its clinical studies.
He studied medicine in Bochum and Essen and spent 1992 at McCord Zulu Hospital in Durban, South Africa. He then trained and worked as a senior physician in Ratingen, Schwäbisch Gmünd, Geislingen and Rheinfelden, where he became Chief Physician in 2002. He received his doctorate from the University of Ulm in 2002 with a study of adjuvant chemotherapy in high-risk breast cancer, and has held the specialisation in gynaecological oncology since 2006.
He has wide experience in clinical research, with around 40 phase II and III studies, and has served as principal investigator since 2016.
