Dr. Patrick Glauner is a Full Professor of Artificial Intelligence at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology. As an expert witness, he has advised the European Union affairs committees of the German federal parliament and the French National Assembly. He has published three books with Springer, including "Digitalization in Healthcare" (2021), and is an Area Editor of the International Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems.
He was previously Head of Data Academy at Alexander Thamm GmbH, Innovation Manager for Artificial Intelligence at Krones Group, a Fellow at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) and a visiting researcher at the University of Quebec in Montreal. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, an MSc in Machine Learning from Imperial College London, an MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Luxembourg.
