Students can access Microsoft programmes and licences via a Microsoft account: e.g. operating systems, development tools (MS Project, MS Visio, etc.) and servers.
How do I access Azure Dev Tools for Teaching?
When you create your university account, a Microsoft account is automatically set up, which you can use to log in.
To log in, use your university email address and the corresponding password.
After logging in, look for the ‘Education’ section under Azure Services.

What can I do if the software list contains very few entries?
In rare cases, your Microsoft account may not have been fully verified. In this case, you can repeat the registration process: Student Verification.
How long is my Microsoft account valid for?
Until you complete your studies.
How long can I use my Azure Dev Tools licences?
Indefinitely, even after leaving the university – but for personal use only!
However, access to the Azure portal is no longer possible after leaving the university.
Can staff members also use this service?
Yes. To do so, follow the same procedure as described above.
