09May
Dear everyone,
We would like to invite you to a local community event in Deggendorf, the Stadtpark Festival 2026 under the motto “Der Park lebt!” (The Park is Alive!) 🌿
📅 Date: Saturday, May 9, 2026
🕚 Time: 11:00 – 17:00
📍 Location: Stadtpark Deggendorf
After the successful reopening of the newly redesigned city park in 2025, the city is hosting its first large festival there, a great opportunity to experience local culture and spend time together outdoors.
During the day, the park will turn into a lively meeting place with a wide variety of activities for all ages:
* 🎶 Live music from regional bands at the Theatron
* 💃 A special breakdance show by vice world champion Phillip Meyer
* 🧒 Interactive program for children and young people organized by the youth center 4You
* 🏐 Sports activities such as beach volleyball, mini golf, boules, chess, and table tennis
* 🌱 Environmental initiatives and the “Heros for Future” climate rally (interactive app)
* 🚒 Activities and demonstrations by the Deggendorf volunteer fire brigade
* 🌳 Guided tours through the park with city gardener Robert Schneider
* ☕ Relaxing areas and social spots like “Ratsch unter den alten Eichen”
* 🍴 Food and drinks available at the “Dreimäderl” beer garden
We also thought it would be nice to spend some time together as a group 😊
Feel free to bring your own snacks, drinks, or games, we can have a small picnic, relax in the park, or play something together.
We also recommend bringing something to sit on (like a blanket or mat), as we’ll likely spend time on the grass.
Whether you want to join for the activities, hang out, or just enjoy the atmosphere, there’s something for everyone.
